Part 2 project students: See dedicated page for information about Part 2 projects in the group.

DPhil students: Each year the group typically takes on one or two new DPhil students to work on our key research themes. The application process is organized centrally through the Graduate Studies Office, with a series of set deadlines at which point all applications received are then processed (gathered fields). Details of the application procedure can be found here with further information from the central University here. Interested students are always welcome to come to the Chemistry Research Laboratory to discuss available projects, email being the easiest way to sort out arrangements in advance. There are a number of possible avenues for funding, including scholarships applied for through the University, and we have a good recent track record with these.

Post-doctoral co-workers: The group currently supports a number of PDRA positions through EPSRC funding. At present all these positions are filled, new vacancies are advertised as and when on the departmental jobs webpage. In addition, there are a number of possible sources of funding to which applications can be made by the researcher themselves. Recent co-workers have had success in obtaining fellowships from the DFG, Humboldt, Marie Curie and Talentia programs. Interested potential co-workers are more than welcome to contact Prof Aldridge to discuss the possibilities for projects hosted in the group.
